Topic 2: Fake News

TOPIC 2: FAKE NEWS -- President Trump has made “fake news” a daily topic for discussion. But the president’s definition is different from the textbook definition, which used to refer almost exclusively to satirical TV shows such as “The Daily Show” and publications such as The Onion.
I agree some what to him calling it fake news because not everyone knows whats going on with what he does because he is the president and i'm sure they cant figure everything out. But I also do not agree because he isnt the best president or the best person around. I think he calls things fake news because he thinks it will go very against him if it is true so the aspect of him calling it fakes news give it a sense of who knows whats true and whats not. "the unmistakable signs that Trump had once again exercised his ability to steer a conversation through simple repetition of whatever it is he is selling" (CNN article). Trump trying to steer away from real conversation directed at him and trying to turn it into selling some BS.
I think the stand he is taking and the things he is saying in outbreaks is truly hurting journalists and going against what he should stand for as the president, I mean.. he the president for goodness sakes!
ABC Article: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-roll-eyes-asked-presidents-shocking-interview/story?id=56560919
Article about trump from ABC News, he explains that "I didn't criticize the prime minister. I have a lot of respect for the prime minister," Trump then said in the article that they did not include his comments of "praise for May", and suggesting the White House may release a full recording of the interview. I think trump was just saying how it is from this quote about what he was talking about towards the prime minister. The media way have changed and made him look a different way than what truly he was going towards.
